What To Pack for Baby

I was so happy when I finally didn’t have to carry a diaper bag anymore. No more lugging around a huge, heavy bag where I could never find what I was looking for. This time around I am more organized, and I only have to pack for one baby which is a lot easier! Here is a checklist for what you should carry for your new little one:

Diapers- of course! You probably want to stick on the safe side and carry at least 5 of these.

Wipes- again, you want to err on the side of caution. I always carry a lot for dirty diapers as well as sticky hands and faces.

Burp cloths- I carry two.

Diaper rash cream- I carry a full size tube with me.

Sunscreen- so important for you and baby especially this time of year.

Changing pad- I also wipe this down with wipes before I put this away.

Hat- a sun hat in the summer and a warm hat in winter.

Blanket- When the sun goes down it can get cold and even if it is summer a thin blanket will provide shade from the sun!

Snacks- raisins, crackers, cheerios or granola bars are great for toddlers, babies or moms!

Tylenol- sample size, just in case!

Toys- to keep baby occupied.

Small garbage bags- for dirty diapers or wet clothes.

Change of clothes- this will come in handy, I promise!

Now you know why moms have huge diaper bags! What do you carry in your diaper bag that is not on my list?

I keep many of those things in the trunk of my car but I don’t carry a diaper bag with my youngest. I just so rarely need any of those things that I got tired of lugging them all around.
