Too Many Toys

by Erinn

R and L have so many toys. Really too many. I know I am partially to blame for that because in the past I have bought them toys just because. I have since changed my ways but the kids still have too much.

How much do you hate it when they go to a friends house and play with a toy they have but never play with at home??
We started rotating toys when the kids were about 12 months old. I will take some toys put them away in a box in the basement and bring some toys up that they haven’t seen in awhile.
This keeps the toys fresh without having to buy new toys.
It is new, to them!

The toy thing is out of control. We actually don’t buy my girls too much stuff. We prefer a semi-clutterless house, and the girls don’t miss a thing. We still have way more crap than we need.

My neighbors, on the otherhand, have an entire room filled with toys. There are many that are still unopened. It’s ridiculous. The grandparents just keep buying them crap.

    Ever hear of a 529???

Grandparents are notorious spoilers. I can’t blame our parents too much because they don’t get to see our kids as much as they would like.

Little Princess has too many toys too. I am going to going up to her room shortly to go through them and at least put away the little bit and peices and unused ones.
