Halloween
Today is one of the best days to be a kid. Pretending to be someone you are not, carving pumpkins and the candy, my gosh, the candy!
Nothing is better then candy and the sugar high that comes with it.
My kids are so looking forward to trick or treating tonight, the don’t remember doing it last year so it is all new to them. We will go to a couple of houses in our neighborhood, just enough candy for three year olds.
Here are some safety tips for trick or treating tonight:
-make sure your kids have bright costumes or flashlights to carry
-if you are painting their faces, make sure you use a hypoallergenic and non toxic face paint.
-remember to have good lighting in front of your house
-make sure costumes aren’t too long or too tight
-go trick or treating in a neighborhood you are familiar with

I have to say, I’m looking forward to giving out candy probably almost as much as the kids are to getting it! It’s one of my favorite parts of Halloween. I usually dress up, and the kids and I all compliment each other’s costumes!
