Free Family Summer Fun

I now officially know why my Mom was not as happy as we were when school was out for the summer. Going out every day is too expensive and trying find something cool, literally and figuratively to do every day is tough.

Last year I found the best thing ever and it has saved my life and I know for the summer, at least twice a week I don’t have to think of what to do, it is movie day!

Starting June 19th and running through August, Regal Entertainment Group has free movies Tuesdays and Wednesdays for families. They are not the newest releases but so many of the movies are new to my kids. Plus how many times does your child watch the same video at home?

We go to the theater and either I bring some snacks (it is in the morning so popcorn is not purchased too often) and some waters and we are off to a free movie! Our theater happens to be in a mall so we have lunch after the movie is out and then home in time for our nap.

It has saved me from pulling my hair out with boredom in the summer. I thin you can agree this may be the best thing to happen to a stay at home parent. Check out the site and see if their are participating theaters near you.
