Does Santa Wrap?

by Erinn

I have found through my travels on the internets something that is fascinating to me. Some people don’t wrap the gifts for their kids that are from “santa”. Those are left under the tree unwrapped and the gifts from friends and family are wrapped.

I know, I had no idea either.

This is so interesting to me, because growing up all of our gifts were wrapped and some tags said from “santa” and some said “mom & dad”. All of them were wrapped though.

I will continue to wrap all the gifts for my kids because I think unwrapping gifts one at at time is all the fun of Christmas.

So does Santa wrap your child’s gifts?

Santa wraps at our house now and he wrapped presents when I was a child. I guess I always think about how Santa’s sleigh or his bag is portrayed and some gifts are wrapped, and some are not.

I never thought of Santa’s loot that way. It never crossed my mind but yes he usually does have some wrapped gifts and some unwrapped.
    Interesting!

When my kids were younger, Santa did not wrap any gifts. This was a tradition in my family that I grew up with and passed on to our kids. Now, that the kids are older, we wrap all of the gifts. Half are tagged “from Mom and Dad” and the other half from Santa

Santa wraps his gifts in our house. He even wrap them using the same wrapping paper as the the ones from “mom and dad”..lol.
